Spooky walk! 5-6 tried to help their blindfolded partner through the mud bogs, poisonous frogs, and witch hats without touching anything. They had to use verbal communication to guide the partners.
Ghosts in the graveyard! K-2 had to defeat the ghosts or pumpkins by knocking them over. Working on throwing skills.
5th grade studying static electricity/bad hair day
K-2 were discovering how a few ingredients combined could make ghost rockets. The students had fun “Blasting off” their ghosts.
3rd and 4th grade brought in their "Pumpkin Book Reports" today! The students were asked to pick a book of their choice and then create one of the characters from the story on a pumpkin with their families. They were all so creative and they turned out great!
FYI for parents' night, the order of names will go from Freshmen to Seniors with siblings going with the older sibling's class. This will take place in the gym.
Due to our home football/volleyball games, McPherson County Schools will dismiss at 2 pm tomorrow (Oct. 25th). Bus will run accordingly. Football is at 3 pm, volleyball at 5 pm.

Karen Haake took time to speak to students from McPherson County and Stapleton about real world issues that are happening all around us. The kids found the information very informative and interesting.
Parents' Night will be this Friday, October 25 in Tryon. Football, Volleyball, and Cross Country parents will be recognized between the JV volleyball and Varsity Volleyball games. Parents please be in Tryon by 5:00.

Teachers working hard on Monday, October 14th, with other teachers in our ESU to come up with ideas and goals to use in our classrooms to help our students. This is year two of this collaboration of all schools in ESU 16.
