TRACK UPDATE: Hershey track meet has been moved up to this Thursday March 21 due to potential weather disruption on Saturday. The meet will now be held at 3:00pm on Thursday in Hershey.

The McPherson County Speech team competed in the D2-5 Speech Districts today. We brought home several medals and had one state qualifier. Results: Katherine Anderson: Serious Prose - 5th place
Isaac Goosey: Extemporaneous - 2nd place
Brooklynn Fisher, Rachael Kemp, Devanee Connell, Nevaeh White, and Ezekiel Goosey: OID - 6th place
Levi Goosey: Humorous Prose - 5th place
Ezekiel Goosey & Jackson Fisher: Duet - 6th place
Hannah Goosey: Poetry - 7th place

Don't forget to come join us tonight in the Commons area to listen to all of our talented Speech Kids! They will be competing tomorrow at Districts for a chance to go to State! Your support is greatly appreciated, and there will be PIE!


The McPherson County Speech Team will compete at the NSAA District Competition on Friday at the Wallace High School. All students must bring money or food, professional dress, and speech binders to the competition. We will be leaving the school at 7:30.




McPherson County FFA chapter held their monthly meeting last week during lunch!





Juniors listened to a couple NAYC guest speakers, Caleb Most and Caleb Burnside. They discussed opportunities the NAYI conference provides and answered any student questions!




Today the Sophomores had an opportunity to attend Connecting the Dots hosted by ESU 16 and UNL Extension Office. They were able to explore many career opportunities and make networking connections. It was a full day of exploration!
