November One-Act Schedule:
Nov 2nd: Practice 2:30–4:30 p.m.
Nov 3rd: Practice 4:00-6:00 P.M.-Dress Rehearsal
Nov 6th: Practice 4:00-6:00 P.M.-Dress Rehearsal
Nov 7th: Elm Creek Festival-will leave the school at 9:30. Please bring a sack lunch or money for meals. We perform at the Elm Creek High School at 5:30 p.m.
Nov 9th: Practice 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Nov 10th: Practice 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Nov 11th: Gothenburg Competition- Please bring a sack lunch or money for meals. We will meet at the school at 9:00 a.m. We perform at 2:15 p.m.
Nov 13th: Practice 6:45–8:45 p.m.
Nov 14th: MNAC- We will meet at the school at 7:00 a.m. We will be performing at Thedford High School. Please bring a sack lunch or money for meals.
Nov 16th: Practice 6:45–8:45 p.m.
Nov 17th: Practice 6:45–8:46 p.m.
Nov 18th: Kearney Competition- Please bring a sack lunch or money for meals. We will meet at the school at 9:00 a.m. We will perform at Kearney High School at 2:15.
Nov 20th- The dessert Theater will be at 7 p.m. at McPherson County High School. Students need to bring a fancy dessert.
Nov 27th- Linden Estates
Nov 28th- Practice
Nov 29th- Districts-TBA




The MCS class of 2025 has partnered with Homestead Pumpkin Patch to bring delicious Kettle Corn to our community! Orders will be due no later than November 17, with delivery scheduled for November 21st - just in time for Thanksgiving! Please make all checks payable to McPherson County Schools. ($8/bag)

The McPherson County FFA officer team had the opportunity to attend Midplains Community College speaker Amberly Snyder. The inspirational message about her life journey before, after a tragic accident, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Amberley's goals in physical therapy were "Walk, Ride, Rodeo." Her message of faith and determination will open your heart to the possibilities of happiness regardless of your life situation while motivating you to set the goals to overcome the challenges thrown in your path.

Freshmen, please remember your Krispy Kreme doughnut/coffee orders and money need to be turned in tomorrow, Monday, October 30!

Just a reminder that the High school choir will leave for MNAC clinic at 7:10 a.m. Monday, October 30. Mrs. Anderson will pick students up at Cody Park at 6:20 a.m.


November is almost here! Another busy month for MCS.


McPherson County FFA Chapter are in need of 2 judges and at least 1 chaperone for LDEs held on Nov. 13 in Wallace. Let Miss Choat know if you are interested or know of someone and have questions. Thank you!

The Elks Lodge out of North Platte donated dictionaries to MCS 3rd graders earlier this week. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Nielson for bringing those to our school.


K-4 enjoying Fire Safety day. It was a perfect day to learn about being safe when it comes to fires. Thank you McPherson County volunteers for everything you do to keep us safe!
