McPherson County FFA officers had the opportunity to attend the Lincoln County Cattlemen's meeting and listen to Amanda Radke discuss the power in relationships and advocating for our passion - agriculture! Thank you to the Lincoln County Cattlemen, Waits Ranch, and Duane McClain with Nebraska Land Brokers for providing a set of Amanda's children books for our chapter to teach youth about agriculture!

Reminder for tonight: The McPherson Co Improvement Club will have a meeting Wednesday, September 20 at 7 PM in the commons. Please plan to attend. If you are wondering what the MCIC does, we raise money for projects that the school otherwise are unable to budget for such as new equipment or microwaves etc. We also host and are financially responsible for the after prom party. Please plan to attend as this benefits all of our children. It literally takes a village to take care of all the school needs. You do not have to have children in school to participate. We welcome everyone. Questions? Contact Chad Fisher, Lana Watson, Andrea Blake, Toni Powers, or Jana Gragg. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday, September 20 at 7 PM in the High School commons.

There will be no one-act practice tonight.

The High School practice van will leave McPherson County High school at 3:30 today.

Another great week planned. Reminder no school Monday for all students. We hope to see all of our parents tomorrow. Friday, no school for the elementary students.

Just a reminder the book fair will be open Monday, September 18th during Parent Teacher Conferences. Come check out the selection!

McPherson County Schools' evening bus route will run as regularly scheduled. We have been in communication with the North Platte Police Department and have been informed that Cody Park is outside of the evacuation area and will be safe to drop our students off. IF the situation happens to change we will use social media and media services to communicate any necessary actions.

Due to a celebration in Cody Park today, September 13, 2023, we will move our drop off site across highway 83 in the parking lot beside the North Platte Transit building (1520 N Jeffers Street). This is south of the Armory building. Drop off will be the same time.
