7th-grade girls are having a good time in English class this week. They are reading their blind date book picks and getting comfortable in the new bungee chairs.
The high school and junior high also enjoyed ice cream provided by the McPherson County Improvement Club, to celebrate a successful start to the school year. Sorry, no pictures of the high school students.

Saturday night come over to Stapleton to support the McPherson County FFA chapter as they will be running concessions at the fairgrounds. You can also enjoy the rodeo!

On September 8th and 9th, students in grades K-6 will participate in our District MAP assessment in the mornings.
Please make sure students are well-rested and have a good breakfast to help them do their best!
Kindergarten through 3rd grade will take the MAP Fluency Assessment on September 1st.

Tomorrow, August 20, 2021, McPherson County FFA will be serving breakfast to all McPherson County students and staff, starting at 7:30 a.m. Elementary students and staff will walk over to the High school commons for this.

The sophomores picked their blind date with a book choice. What will their blind date be? Will it be a mystery, a drama, or perhaps a historical fiction date? The suspense was excruciating in the English room. Stay tuned for blind date stories.
Do you have artificial flowers and materials you are looking to get rid of or donate? I know the place just for you! The floriculture class is looking for materials to practice and learn with. Drop off your donations at the school office.
Students are anxiously getting back into the swing of things at school. The first day was August 16 and students reviewed rules and drills to start the school year. It is exciting for students and teachers to be back at it.
