Kindergarten and first grade retelling stories through play. This was the story of "The Three Little Pigs."
Over Christmas student’s at McPherson Elementary participated in a 12 days of Christmas reading challenge. These students are the ones that completed the challenge. Each student was entered into a drawing for a LED reading chair. Bryson Phelps was the winner of the drawing.

Maxwell Triangular will start at 5:00 p.m. Order of events, Maxwell v Medicine Valley; Medicine Valley v Sandhills Valley; Maxwell v Sandhills Valley Boys; Maxwell v Sandhills Valley girls. There will be no streaming of this event. Maxwell will be hosting Senior Night for their team right before their match with Sandhills Valley. Concessions will be available starting at 4:00.

Junior high games that were postponed today, January 20, will now be played tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, in Tryon starting girls at 1 o'clock central time. Boys will start approximately 2:15 central time.

Due to the number of quarters the JV Girls and Boys will play tomorrow at Thedford, game times will be start at 4:45 JV Girls, 5:15 JV Boys and varsity girls at 6:00 with varsity boys to follow.

I hope everyone is starting to feel better! We were supposed to do Winter testing at the elementary, but with most students sick last week, we moved it to next week. This week we will work on catching up JH/HS students that missed last week. 100 Day is Thursday!
Please take all clothes, coats, hats, gloves, etc. home to wash. Hopefully that will help slow down this sickness.
Due to the number of illnesses at the elementary this week, we will delay elementary MAP/NSCAS testing until the week of January 27th.
If your student is sick today and has an activity tomorrow, they will not be allowed to attend the activity due to time they will be leaving. Refer to the activities handbook page 1. B
