One-Act Updates:
Yesterday our one-act students competed in the MNAC competition at Thedford High School. They took the stage after changing four parts the night before due to some students being unable to attend the conferences. Our team did an outstanding job, and we couldn't be more proud of them. We placed fourth, missing third by one point. We brought home seven acting awards, Kinnley Powers, Braden Powell, Katherine Anderson, Saije Phelps, Isaac Goosey, Rachael Kemp, and Levi Goosey.

Nov 21st- Dessert Theater at Tryon High School at 7 p.m
Nov 22nd- One-Act performance at Tryon High School at noon.
Nov 30th- Districts at Gothenburg High School at 10:15 a.m.
As we headed home from National FFA Convention, we stopped for lunch at the Iowa 80 Worlds Largest Truckstop. They also ran into some other FFA members they happened to meet at the beginning of the week!
Our final evening in Indianapolis bonding and eating supper!
National FFA convention attendees toured the Indianapolis motor speedway. They had the opportunity to Kiss the Bricks and learn about NASCAR!
National FFA convention expo continued!
FFA members were able to watch the Conduct of Chapter Meetings finals hall! Such a unique experience to watch live performances!
FFA members attend the hypnotist show at National FFA Convention. Randy Andrews is currently the only singing hypnotist in the world.
At National FFA convention students were able to network through the expo, career fair, & college fair.
FFA members attended the 95th National FFA Convention opening session and listened to keynote speaker, Tamika Catchings, to be B.O.L.D. speech.
National FFA continued with the FFA concert!
I'm incredibly proud of our one-act cast and crew this season. It has been a slow start this year, but the kids are doing their best and having fun while doing it. Their hard work is beginning to pay off. We brought home seven acting awards at this competition. Actor and actress awards went to Kinnley Powers, Braden Powell, Saije Phelps, Brooklynn Fisher, Rachael Kemp, Levi Goosey, and Noah Gardner
Students in 9-12, get your dancing shoes ready or snow boots! Come enjoy a fun evening at McPherson County. Proceeds go toward the McPherson County Student Council.
