The gym in Tryon is in need of some new scoreboards! We are looking for a few individuals or businesses who would be willing to donate towards this purchase. Donors will be recognized via plaque. If interested, please contact an MCS Board member or call the school at (308) 587-2262

Last three days of the semester! Finish strong!

The McPherson County Improvement Club will be serving a Holiday meal to all students and staff on Wednesday, December 20th at 11:15. Afterwards, K-12 students and staff will be going caroling around Tryon to spread some holiday cheer. Please send your students in warm clothing.

We had a nice visit from the Marines today. The kids got to test their strength and endurance. Here's a few pictures.

Congratulations to Leyton, Katherine, and Isaac for being selected as NCPA Academic All-State. Also, congratulations go out to our fellow Mavericks from Stapleton! Way to go kids!

The sophomore class finished their Romeo and Juliet newspaper articles last week. Today, they are wrapping up their Shakespeare unit and working on their Romeo and Juliet slideshow presentations.

Class of 2026's community service project is to wrap Christmas gifts! It will be going on this week. Check out the flyer for details!

Our K-6 Title I coordinator, Mrs.Ebmeier, had a wonderful family project following the Christmas concert. K-6 students and families created Christmas Potpourri bags to take home. They had to use reading and math skills to follow the recipe! Thank you Mrs. Ebmeier!

The Edgerton Explorit presentation has been moved to December 12th due to a conflict. We cannot wait to see what they have in store for our K-6 students!

Tonight is the night! K-12 music students have been working hard on the Christmas Program.
Please have music students to the high school music room by 6:30 pm to get lined up.

We have some little "elves" going around and helping decorate the schools! Make sure you get out and see what they have done! Thank you Mr. Simmons for spreading some holiday cheer!
