Come on out to the McPherson County Fair and support the 4-H and FFA youth! 🐐🐑🐮🐖🐷The pancakes 🥞 and sausage are ready! The FFA also is doing a cow pie bingo and selling pork raffle tickets!!
The teachers have been working hard all week to get ready for students next week! Bus will be at Cody park at 6:45 a.m and pulling out by 7:00. See you all Monday morning!
Good afternoon! If your student has not taken the XLNTBRAIN cog test please have them do so. They should all have accounts, except incoming 7th grade. They will need to sign up using their school email account. If your student has completed the test, they need to sign in and at the top of their page they need to enter the passcode: SVATHLETE22. This is the passcode for all students.

Happy Friday! This is a reminder that all incoming Kindergartners and 7th graders need school physicals. Also, students wishing to participate in sports grades 7-12, will need physicals and 9-12 will need a NSAA consent form filled out. We do have the sports physical forms and NSAA consent forms at the office. 9-12 these have to be done prior to August 8th or you will not be able to participate in practices until they are completed. 7-8 will need physicals by August 15.

Poppy poster winners and Americanism Essay winners were announced on Tuesday, May 10th after field day. Winners for the Poppy posters were, Scarlet Waddell, Alexander Anderson, Jackson Fisher, and Kamilla Johnston.
Essay winners were, Carsyn Gragg, Levi Goosey, Brooklynn Fisher, and Nastacia Waddell. Congratulations to all participants.
MCS host their annual rural field day on Tuesday, May 10th. It was a beautiful day for the students to test their abilities. All results will be posted in the newspaper.

Students in Mr. Simmons 5-8 woods classes participated in a pine wood derby challenge. Carsyn Gragg was the overall winner.
MCS presented some final awards. Pictured is our elementary Presidential Award of Excellence and high school students that were recognized by the NSAA as multi activity participants. Congratulations kiddos on an excellent year of academics, activities, and sports.
